first passenger flight using sustainable fuel

Malaysia operates first passenger flight using sustainable aviation fuel

On June 5, a B737-800 airplane operating the flight MH603 between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore was fueled with a combination of regular jet fuel and Neste's My SAF. The raw materials used to make the SAF are all renewable and responsibly obtained waste and residue.

Petco Trade (UK) Ltd., Petronas' marketing and trading branch with headquarters in Europe, agreed to supply the gasoline, and Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport handled product handling and refueling.
