15% of our world’s pollution is caused by cigarettes.

Soil, beaches, and rivers can get contaminated by cigarette and e-cigarette waste. Studies have also revealed that waste from cigarettes and e-cigarettes is bad for animals. When cigarette butts are transported as runoff to drains and then to rivers, beaches, and oceans, they produce pollution.
